First you must
do some setting to aloud music playing in paltalk rooms as follows
select 'preferences' from the 'setup' menu on the main 'pal list
window'
select the 'audio tests' tab
click on the 'input mixer settings' link
To Play a MP3 we would want to select the 'WAV' or 'Mixer' device
since your favorite media player uses this device to play MP3's. In
this case the 'mixer' slider is selected
Here is where you can get confused... Some sound cards (like the one
represented by this mixer panel) will not allow you to directly
access the WAV device as the recording input, but WILL allow you to
select the 'mixer' input. If your sound card is like this one, then
you would want to select 'Mixer' as the 'recording device' (see
above).
Adjust the volume of your MP3 using the 'Mixer' slider or the 'WAV'
slider if it is available and selected.
If your 'recording control' panel looks like the one above, and you
were able to play an MP3 while listening to people in the chat room,
you should now be able to play an MP3 into the room.
Just start your MP3 playing and 'key up' in the room by pressing the
CTRL key on your keyboard, or select 'lock microphone' from the
'actions' menu in the chat room window.
You can see that this mixer panel has various devices available.
Your microphone would be selected by default.
Don't forget to re-select the microphone again when you wish to
speak into the chat room!

Now once you do that
then
-Open the program, click on Playlist Editor, that's where you make
the play list,
then save it.
-Now add admins, click on admins and add the people who can send
command to the bot
save the list
-Now click on connect to connect to the room.
-Now on the program click on load and load your play list
-The program should start automatically when the autoplay is on. If
it's not on autoplay just click on play then start.
Bot Comands
Admins Only
next! will paly the next
song
last! Will play the last
song
umic! will unlock the mic in
the computer thats the bot
is on
lmic!
will lock the mic in the computer thats the
bot is on
pause! will pause the song
play! will paly the song
from pause
stop! will stop the song and
move to the next one
aplay! # with this an bot admin can play the song number they
want, where # represents the number of the song.
rc! With this command you will clear
all the songs in the request list.
Regular Users
name! this will send the
name of the current song
req! # This way the user can request a
song, where # is the number of the song they want.
list! Now if you guys have a list
uploaded to your site this will send the url if you save it to in
your list url.
Program Options
The program got some cool options you can
use, like a Greeter and Anouncer those you can select by clicking on
the Options menu.
Note; I
havent found an easy way to load the music list to the room so I
added an option on the program for you to create a music list and
upload it to a server and create a link, that way if a user uses the
command list! they will reciece a message with the url of the
list.
